Brief Description: Left Wing Tip - Micro Top Reinforcement Strip
My final task for today was to install the top aluminum reinforcement strip in the left wing tip so the epoxy could dry overnight. I sanded the top inside flange of the left wing tip along with the aluminum reinforcement strip. Then I vacuumed up the dust, cleaned everything with Acetone, and mixed up a small batch of epoxy with micro in it. I then used a small paint brush to spread the micro on both the wing tip flange and the aluminum reinforcement strip and clecoed everything together. The bottom strip was done just this morning so I left those clecoes in as well while everything cures overnight.
