The R-717 shim and the two R-716 bottom attach strips for the fiberglass tips were fabricated from 0.032 Alclad scraps. I used the snips for this which gave my right forearm quite a workout. Also, the forward spar components were clecoed together. I also created a bending brake tonight from two pieces of wood and 4 hinges. I then crunched the rudder trailing edge to the appropriate radius. The trailing edge really turned out great - nice and straight!
