Brief Description: Measure/Clamp VS to HS; Drill Rear Spar
I spent a great deal of time positioning the VS where it needed to be. This was very iterative and involved taking several measurements to make sure the VS was truely vertical. Once everything was clamped in place and all the measurements were checked one final time, I drilled the rear spar to the angle that bolts to the top of the aft deck. The angle was also drilled to the aft deck and longerons. The measurements here were critical as well. The bolts needed to be drilled with sufficient edge distance on the longerons. Mine came out perfect! I swear I used every clamp I could possibly fit in there to hold everything secure while drilling. Definitely paid off!
