I thought having a bowed spar doubler might cause some problems but this did not turn out to be the case. Just clecoing it to the VS-803PP rear spar straightened things out fine. The plans indicate that the lightening holes on the spar doubler were optional. I decided to purchase a hole cutter from Sears and drill the lightening holes to save some weight. Every little bit helps out!
