Brief Description:  Drill / Bolt Fuel Tank Brackets

I worked on the fuel tank brackets today. The first thing that I did was countersink the fuselage skin / lower longeron for the bottom attach screw. I had forgotten to do this earlier. The countersink cage just barely fit underneath the wing. This would have been easier to do with the wing off. Once these holes were countersunk I installed the screws, washers, and nuts. The next thing that I did was drill the fuel tank brackets using the slots in the fuselage brackets as a guide. I used a 1/4" drill bit bushing to make sure the drill was centered in the slot. Just like on the rear spars I drilled these holes undersized and then reamed them to the correct size. Once this was done I bolted the two brackets together. The left wing brackets came out great. The hole in the right wing bracket is not perpendicular to the bracket. The bolt is slightly canted. I'm not sure if I need to do anything with this or not. I may decide to straighten this out by reaming to the next size and making sure things are perpendicular this time.
