Brief Description: Begin Working on the Gretz Pitot Mount
I wish I had decided on going with the Dynon EFIS and AOA pitot much earlier. I had already drilled the left bottom skin and spar flange for Van's basic pitot tube. These holes will be abandoned. The Dynon AOA pitot will mount in the next outboard rib bay from where the Van's pitot mounted. The Dynon pitot also mounts using the standard Gretz pitot mount. I purchased the mounting kit directly from Gretz. I began working on the mount today by fabricating a support angle that will be used to secure the bracket to one of the main ribs. This angle was then drilled to the bracket.
