Today I finished the short aileron pushrods. I inserted the rod end bearings, drilled them to the pushrods and then riveted them in place. Then I measured and cut out the long aileron pushrods. Since the short pushrods are powder coated I thought this might be a good time to try a new paint. I decided to prime the long pushrods with Rustoleum primer. I will topcoat these later with Rustoleum white enamel to match the powdercoat on the short pushrods. I want to test how well the Rustoleum paint sprays on as well as how durable it is.
