Brief Description: Drill Fairing to Stabilizers / Heat to Fit
The tab the curves around the left leading edge did not require any heating. It hugged the leading edge very nicely, unlike that of the right edge before heating. The screw spacing is according to the plans and works very nice to pull in the fairing edges close to the stabilizers and fuselage skins. However, there are still a couple of gaps, the worst being on the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer. I think I will apply about a 1" wide layer of very thin micro around all of the inside edges to fill in the gaps around the entire perimeter.
