Brief Description:  Pro-Seal and Rivet All Fuel Tank Ribs

What a day! Very long and finally over. I couldn't have done this without the help of my brother Matt. We spent the day living in rubber gloves and gas masks. We were sticky, the tools were sticky, the fumes from the basement stunk the house up, but oh was it worth it! My left fuel tank is just about finished. One more large gooping session for the baffle and I'll be done. Since all of these rivets can be squeezed, I should be able to do this myself later. What a mess to clean up. Oh well, everything is getting soaked in MEK overnight and cleaned tomorrow. This black goop doesn't set up as quick as I was led to believe. It becomes unworkable from the standpoint of mixing and spreading within an hour or two but remains tacky and cleanable with MEK for several days. Good thing because I am beat. I used WAY more proseal than I probably needed but I am very confident that the ribs we sealed today will not leak. Proseal is thickly gooped over every rivet and along every rib and stiffener. What a work of messy art! It is VERY satisfying getting just to this point with the tank!
