Brief Description: Cleco Baffle to Tank; Drill Screw Holes
I clecoed the left fuel tank together today. This was mostly together from working on locating the Z brackets and locating them on the spar. I just had to cleco on both end ribs and the baffle. Once this was done I drilled all of the #19 holes along the top and bottom aft edges of the tank. These will be used for the screws that will help secure the tank to the wing spar. Since these holes were fairly large in the thin skin, I clecoed a small piece of wood behind the skin for added support while drilling. This worked great and prevented the drill from pulling the thin skin up along the drill itself and served to make clean, round holes.
