Brief Description:  Complete Trim Relay and Indicator Wiring

Today I finished up the elevator and aileron trim relay and indicator wiring. This was a bit tricky given the number of tiny wires involved. There are 3 multi-conductor cables, one from the aileron trim servo, one from the elevator servo, and one from all of the switches on the control sticks. Plus each relay and indicator has 5 or more wires each,,,all of which criss-cross and interconnect. Not to mention that not all of the wire colors on the cables from the servo's and sticks matched up with the wire colors from the relays and indicators. Also, each relay and each indicator has their own power and ground wires. I routed the power lines to 4 separate 1 amp fuses on the E-buss.

All a bit confusing but I was finally able to sort everything out one connection at a time. I used D-Sub male/female pins with heat-shrink for each connection and then larger heat-shrink to group and secure several connections into logical cables. I then used tie-wraps to interconnect and support the cables together. Doesn't look to clean in the pictures but it actually came out quite nice. I still have to trim the tails off the tie-wraps and secure the bundles somehow to the sub-panel.
