Brief Description:  Partially Wire a 9-Pin D-Sub for Dynon Remote Comp

The Approach Systems harness for the Dynon EFIS has a shielded 3-conductor pigtail for the remote compass as well as a 20awg switched power pigtail that also routes to the remote compass. All of these wires need to connect to a 9-pin D-sub connector that will plug into the compass but one of the wires also shares a pin with the Dynon OAT - outside air temperature probe. The OAT also has a couple of other wires that route to unique pins on the same D-Sub connector.

I decided to pre-wire the D-sub connector on the workbench as much as possible by connecting all of the wires to the Dynon that are on unique pins. I then routed the wires down the aft side of the F-706 bulkhead and then under the right longeron all the way up front to the sub panel. I had to drill holes in a couple more bulkheads and install snap bushings in order to do this.
