Brief Description: Install and Wire Manifold Pressure Sensor
I had to splice into the +5v red/white excitation wire from the EMS unit that I had wired to the carb temp sensor yesterday since the manifold pressure sensor also needed to be fed from this wire. I used a butt splice with the main wire coming from the EMS crimped onto one end and the two output wires for the two sensors crimped together on the other end.
Next I used the holes in the manifold pressure sensor as a guide to drill the mounting holes through the firewall. Once the holes were deburred I bolted the unit in place. The manifold pressure sensor uses a Weather Pack connector with 3 wires from the EMS, including the +5v excitation wire.
