Brief Description: Install Voltage Regulator - B&C LR3C
I purchased a linear voltage regulator from B&C Specialty quite some time ago. I decided to go with the more expensive linear regulator versus a switcher type to minimize the noise in my electrical system. Plus this regulator was designed and flown on the Voyager so it should serve well in my RV-7A.
There are two 18awg ground wires - one from pin 7 and the other from the regulator case. I crimped ring terminals on the regulator ends and fast-on terminals on the ground tab ends and installed both ground wires.
I also installed the two 22awg wires for the low-voltage sensor that route to the amber light on the panel. Just the voltage regulator ends have been connected.
