Brief Description: Add 2 More Layers of Fiberglass on Corners
I was still not confident that the front corners of the canopy were very strong. Basically there is one think layer of fiberglass on the outside and 2 layers on the inside that will serve as the skin since the aluminum did not extend down far enough to meet the canopy deck/rails of the fuselage. I decided to add 2 more layers of fiberglass on just the front corners. These only extend about 3 inched back from the corners along the rails. Five layers on the corners should definitely prevent these from chipping or breaking.
Right corner reinforced - 5 layers of fiberglass - 1 outside, 4 inside
Left corner reinforced - 5 layers of fiberglass - 1 outside, 4 inside
