Brief Description:  Countersink/Edge Prep VA-161 Gascolator Bracket

Next I countersunk the VA-161 gascolator bracket and polished the edges on the scotchbrite wheel. The lightening holes had to be done by hand with sandpaper and a scotchbrite pad.My final task for today was to use one of the K1000-4 nutplates as a jig to drill the nutplate holes for the outer master and starter relays attachment points on the firewall stiffeners. The inner attachment holes will be supported by a doubler plate. Once the nutplate holes were drilled, the rivet holes were countersunk since they couldn't be dimpled because of the underlying stiffener angles.
