The next thing I did was finish up the F-7127C battery retainer strap. There is definitely a right and left orientation to this since the left angle is offset about 1/32" to 1/16" for the flange of the firewall recess. I positioned the strap parallel and 1/8" offset from the front edge of the battery box and clamped it in place. I then used a drill bit from underneath through the nutplates to mark where to drill. The strap was then drilled while it was off the battery box.
