Brief Description: Set bulkheads and prepped for baggage floor Ls
It seems like a lot of time for the little work that I did, but I started with re-measuring and mounting the three bulkheads to give my baggage floor installation a solid starting place. Next I set the rivet pitch for my L angles, starting with the middle of my upright L angle (on the side skin), and doing the same on the upright channel to be sure the future rivet hole (undrilled until joining the fuselage halves) will perfectly intersect with the overlapping front and rear skins. All this was done with the wing jig in place. I then pre-drilled the L angles. My last idea was to check to see if my fuselage was square, using the plumb bob. I'm glad I did. It was leaning toward the right, so I made some adjustments and got it back in line. That's how you spend 3.25 hours doing what appears to be 30 minutes worth of work!
