Brief Description: Painted beams and cut wing jig webs
Before my trip, I purchased two 8 foot lengths of 2"x2" steel beams. Today I ground the ends smooth, cleaned them and spray painted them. This is for the leveling of the fuselage on saw horses when joining the front and back halves. I also had 5 four foot sections from earlier in my build that never got painted. They had accumulated a little rust sitting around, so I cleaned that off and painted them at the same time. Then I pulled out a sheet of .040" aluminum to make the webs for the two wing jigs. I took my time to get them right as they set the distance and angle between the main wing spar and the rear spar as they attach inside the fuselage. Things came out very well.
