Brief Description:  Notes on moving rudder pedals forward

With the help of the Zenith Matronics list, I avoided a big mistake re: rudder pedals. Do not move the heel support, as it ties in to other structural members on the side of the fuselage later in the process. I also thought about just moving the pedal bearing channel forward, but then realized that if I keep the back edge and regular central pedal bearing holes as specified, I could add 40mm to the forward side and add one more evenly spaced hole for the rudder bearing. This will alllow me to move the rudder pedals back to the "normal position" in the event that I want to sell the airplane to a shorter person. Adding yet another evenly spaced hole (toward the front) would actually allow me to double the correction to 2.6" if 1.3" isn't enough. This mod requires that the forward flange of the bearing channel must be trimmed down to allow the lower engine mount to be put in place.
