Brief Description:  More mismatched parts & firewall test fit

After completing the tail section, I was ready to install the gear channel and rear seat panel. Rivets go through the seat panel, then through the gear channel and finally through the bottom skin. Because of my non-standard bottom skin, this was again a mismatched area. I contacted Tom Henderson and he said he would have new ones out to me next week. In the meantime, I didn't want to get stopped so I decided to work on the next phase which is the firewall. Unless I'm missing somethiing, this went together beautifully and saved me a ton of work. The parts were all CNC drilled and thing matched perfectly. Because the part needs to be formed with a flange around the edge, I'll be back in the wonderful world of woodworking next -- making the forms. Things are really starting to take shape now.
