Brief Description:  Angled back of center console side panels

hen I made the side panels according to the dual stick drawings from Zenith, each panel extended from the floor to the center console brace. Because I have chosen to put my busses (fuse blocks) and other electrical connections on that brace, this arrangement was going to cause access problems. My solution was to form the side panels into a tunnel of sorts. The 2nd picture shows the inside of that tunnel with the overlapping top flanges and nutplates. This provides the same kind of rigidity as I would have had by attaching each side to the center brace, but has left the brace accessible for wiring (see 3rd photo). The only thing left is to replace the nutplates with thumb screw camlocs for ease of removal
