Brief Description:  2 - Routing information

Part of my time was spent running string where the rudder and elevator cables will eventually track. This is important to make sure no wires interfere with cable operation. Visualiizing exact placement is no substitute for having string in place that you can always see and avoid. I routed the transponder coax along the right side of the center console, over the center spar and then ducked under the seat to connect with the transponder antenna. My comm coax loops out of the back of the V10 radiio, over the center spar and then it heads down the left side of the tunnel, exiting through grommets at the back. My best discovery leading up to this session was self-adhesive cable tie mounting pads. You can see them most clearly in the pictures where the coax crosses the top of the center spar. You just clean the surface, stick them, run a cable tie through them and tighten. I had to remove one and they are very hard to remove. Now that I know where my coax cables run, I can route my other sensitive wires to avoid them.
