Brief Description: Placed and pre-drilled flaps and ailerons
Tonight I wanted to determine the location for my AOA (Angle of Attack) ports. To do that you need to have your aileron placed for the measurement of the wing chord. I'll describe that in my next post. After placing and pre-drilling my right wing aileron, I rolled right into doing the same on my left wing. The aileron hinges on top, making that part of the job easy. My original plan was to wait until I flipped the wing to attach the flaps, but I changed my mind in order to get all hinge placement done at once. With a little help from Joy, I rolled around under both wings, successfully attaching all control surfaces to my wings. Wow, they sure got big again!
