On closer examination, I discovered that the excess material in the nose of the rib had caused a small crack. On this attempt, I reduced the amount of material at the tip, resulting in a much smoother leading edge. I'm getting faster, since I completed this part (including tracing and blank prep) in 15 minutes less than I was able to cut, prep and bend the same part this morning. At least when I'm having to redo parts, I'm gaining proficiency.
