In buying my thin sheet aluminum (.016") recently, I only got one 4'x6' sheet. At that point I really hadn't done much study of the size of the rudder skins. Tonight I was confronted with the possibility of another trip to Corona and another $40. By careful spacing and placement, I was able to squeeze both parts out of the single sheet...with enough scrap to spare that I should be able to complete the other .016" rudder parts. My job was made even more challenging because of Dave Clay's advice to actually oversize both pieces so they can be marked and trimmed down during final installation. Next step is bending both parts to have a radiused front edge and a creased trailing edge.
