Brief Description: Replaced canopy, center console/side panels
Tonight I replaced the center console and side panels and I really like the look. Next I temporarily replaced the access covers and canopy in order to mark the outline of the rubber seal on the front of the canopy where it touches the top skin/access panels. That will show me where to paint the glare shield. Then I had to remove the access panels to be able to tighten the bolts through the canopy frame. At this point I had to roll the plane out into the driveway to be able to lift the canopy to full extension to be able to reinstall the gas shocks. With that complete, it was back into the shop to attach the cover plates over the front canopy hinge on each side.
