Brief Description:  2 - Made seat back supports and torqued exhaust

Using 5mm luan plywood, I made seat back supports. Without this, the upholstered cushions deform and push through the back opening. The trick is to make something that is rigid, light and easily removable. My way of solving the problem was to take standard Z angle and open the small flange up completely. Then I rebent it with the right gap to capture the rear spar carry-through. While it seemed odd, I actually riveted it to the wood using countersunk A4 rivets. Finally I painted the front side of each, so any view you might catch of the wood in the background would match the aluminum around it. In this session I also added SS split lockwashers under the hex nuts holding the exhaust stacks in place. The instructions from William Wynne were to flatten the lockwasher, then continue until the aluminum bracket begins to bow. Done. Finally, I completed tightening down my roll bar. One bolt/nut on each side interfered with rivets from the outside, so I had to fix that.
