Brief Description:  2 - Tip for finding the tip of the spinner

I'm sure there are a number of ways to find the exact tip of the spinner, but it is not as easy as you might think. The radius on the tip if fairly generous, so just eyeballing it won't do. What I finally did was to drill a 3/4" hole in a scrap piece of wood which I then clamped into my vice, making it perfectly level. Over the hole in the wood, I laid my drill gauge. I then put the tip of the spinner in the smallest hole it could seat into (9/64th as I remember). Then it was just a matter of leveling the spinner which was now pointing straight down. Once it was level, all that remained was going through the drilled out wood block and through the drill gauge with my fine point Sharpie. The circle I drew almost certainly has to be the exact tip of the spinner. This was the point I used in aligning my spinner for installation, using a laser level.
