Brief Description: Lower right spar mounting bracket installation
I just imagined that I was done with the spar "install-remove-install" process. After sliding in the spar for what I thought would be the last time, I ran an inspection for its relationship with the cockpit siderails (they are supposed to be parallel) and found I needed a tiny bit of rotation (around the longitudinal axis) and found I couldn't do so due to an interference between a bolthead and the skin. So, another in-and-out operation. Then, I was really done with the pass-through openings.
Next - I found the brackets that attach the spar to the fuselage skin weren't bent to match the needed angle so it was off to Al's hangar to use his hydraulic press to make them fit.
Installation of the first (lower right hand) bracket then became pretty straight forward even though I had to move a hole (thank you Rotabroach) and find an 18-inch bit extension to drill the final hole between the spar and the bracket.
