(Danny, I've been too busy to keep this log up to date so several have been added today.)
Installed the center wing panel.
Note: the original design calls for a bolt to go thru each of the bottom (external) longerons and the bottom cap strip of the center wing panel. Due to the geometry of the skin line (curved) and the spar (straight and thru the fuselage), tightening (torquing) these bolts requires either the spar or the longeron to deform. I'm not fond of that idea so tapered spacers were machined. Once installed, any deformation during torquing the bolts will be minimal.
(Now I'm up to date.)
Will do some fiberglass work today to better seal the cockpit from the elements. (This has to due with a change I made when assemblying the fuselage skins.)
