I taped around the door opening with blue painters’ tape and marked a line 1 1/2" from the edge of the opening. With the doors clecoed bat the fore and aft alignment holes, I marked 1 1/2" in from the tape line for the first cut.
Before I cut off the alignment holes, I made triangular aluminum alignment plates inserting the first hole into the alignment cleco and drilling 3 holes in the door fore and aft. Once the edges are trimmed, I could get the door back into the exact same position for final trim.
The trim line allowed me to get within 1/16" for most of the door at the initial trim. All cutting was done with the multi tool with a carbide blade
