Brief Description:  Started fabricating structure for radio stack.

Today I cut some aluminum angles (0.063 x 3/4 x 3/4) to rivet to the panel frame center columns. The columns are 6.25" apart which is the width of the radio trays. The angles will be used to connect the trays at the front. The rear support will be an angle riveted to the forward subpanel which has to be cut to accomadate the longer SL30 nav/com. I will put the GTX 327 transponder on the bottom of the stack followed next by the SL30. The GPS 496 will be on top and supported in the Gizmo receptacle. Above the GPS there is a little area left which will accomadate the elevator and aileron Ray Allen LED trim indicators and a dimmer knob. At least that is the plan for the moment. The center top fuselage rib limits what can be installed at the top unless I do some modification of the rib. I don't want to modify unless absolutely necessary. As I install I might change my mind on the locations of the top items.

Tomorrow I will cut the forward subpanel and rivet the support angle to hold the aft end of the radio trays.
