Brief Description:  Worked on baggage, panel, and glareshield lights.

Today I worked on trying to get lights to work. It was an electrical day so to speak, as we had rain for the first time in two months. To stop our severe drought it will take much more rain. The baggage and side panel lights had been installed previously, but I had accidently pulled some wires loose while entering and exiting the fuselage working on other items. While laying on my back with my legs hanging overboard, I attached adhesive zip tie mounts underneath the F-705 bukhead (the one that holds the seat backs) and connected the wires to the switch and zip tied them to the mounts. I inserted a 2A fuse into the Hot Batt Bus and connected the DC power supply and checked. Yep, they worked!

While in the fuselage I decided to connect the AP pitch servo push rod to the elevator bellcrank. I inserted the bolt, washers, and nut, then torqued the nylock nut to specs.

I temporarily taped the string or red and white led strip lights to the glare shield to determine where to run the wires to the switch. I'll have to get them through the instrument panel somehow. Oh, well, enough for one day so I went home for Happy Hour on a Friday evening.
