Brief Description:  Rewired the Interior Lights switch.

I set out to rewire my Interior Lights switch on the subpanel and thought it would be a quick job. Banish that thought! I soon realized that I had done a lousy job of crimping the D-sub9 pins that connect to the dimmer. Apparently, I had not stripped enough insulation off the wires before crimping the small pins. The wires had simply popped out of the pins with me touching and moving the wire while working on other things.

After reworking the dimmer wires, I had to pull some wires to the Interior Lights 3 position/2 pole switch terminals as well. The are now three wires crimped to one fast-on connector that is connected to the #2 terminal. These wires connect to the EyeBeam and baggage lights as well as the dimmer. The dimmer only controls the panel red/white led strip. I continuity checked the wiring and everthing was OK. I then connected a small led test light and applied the dc power supply to check the dimmer. It too worked OK. So much for a quick job! Sorry, no pictures.
