Brief Description:  Made battery strap for bat removal from battery bo

Today I made a battery strap with some nylon neck strap that was an ID holder on a Carnival cruise we had taken about 6 years ago. It was hanging on a nail in the garage waiting for its chance to be used again in another life. I found some anti-rotation parts that were extra pieces that were not needed to keep the fuel pickup fittings from loosening in the fuel tanks. I drilled a couple of holes in the fittings and bolted them to the battery terminals with the terminal bolts. I threaded the strap through the fittings and put a couple of snap brads on the strap. I can now lift the battery out of the tight battery box with one hand!

I will not carry the battery around with the weight on the terminals. I don't know how strong the terminal connections are inside the battery. The strap is just for removal and installation.
