Brief Description:  Mounted ammeter shunt and ANL base.

Today I messed around trying to figure out how to lable the wires and cables. I then happened to read Marc Aussman's "Top Ten Aircraft Wiring Mistakes". He suggested to print out on paper using small fonts on the computer and then cutting it out and putting clear heat shrink over the print out. I tried it on a fat wire and it worked great. On to the next problem.

I drilled the holes in the FW wall to mount the ammeter shunt and the ANL base. The ANL base is right above the shunt so I used a copper bar to connect one end to the shunt. The other end of the ANL will have the alternator B wire connected. I plan to pick up the main fuse block power off the copper bar end of the shunt. The other end of the shunt will connect to the positive terminal of the start contactor with a fat wire. Of course the small wires with fusible links will pick off mv power through the small screws on the shunt and connect to the Dynon D180 EFIS/EMS.

Well, at least I've started the wiring. A long way to go!!
