On this Memorial Day, I started reinstalling stuff that I had removed to finish the snorkle install, the baffles install, and the plenum installation. I bolted the oil cooler back on and connected/ torqued the hoses to the oil cooler fittings and engine oil out and return fittings. I connected/ torqued the FW-to-fuel pump hose and the fuel pump-to-servo hose. On the fuel and oil hoses I used Flaretight seals on the flared fittings to hopefully prevent leaks. We'll see about that!
I then installed the scat hose from the heat muff to the stainless steel cabin heat box. I also checked the oil pressure hose fittings and fuel pressure fittings for tightness. All fittings were marked with orange torque lacquer.
SW 8432R oil cooler reinstalled.
Connected fuel hose to servo.
