Brief Description:  Installed prop to get spinner/cowling gap.

I still have a few FWF items to accomplish, but I need the cowl fitted to get the spinner and cowl gap (1/4"), as well as the fitting of the horizontal induction fiberglass duct that mates to the fuel injection servo. I'm going to use the Skybolt Cloc system instead of the hinges. I think the camlocks will give a much tighter and rigid cowling.

Charlotte helped me to install the prop today. I held it up to the flange while she got a couple threads going for the six bolts. She used a 3/4" open-end wrench and had a heck of a time engaging the wrench onto the bolts. Once I let go of the prop and started helping her, I realized the difficulty with the wrenches. We finally got it installed. I then attached the fiberglass spinner bulkhead and spinner. I'll remove all the baffles and oil cooler before I start installing the cowling.

The next three days I'll be helping Charlotte with her volunteer work for The Settlement Club, a women's club that helps young girls from broken homes. They raise money each year by having a very large garage sale at the city events center. Last year they netted over a half million dollars. It's unbelievable what these ladies do!
