Brief Description: More prep work to cover and forward strips.
I finished prepping for the help-opening handle by enlogating a hole in the top cover strip. The strip will take the load pressure instead of the plexiglass (I hope) when one lifts the back of the canopy slightly to start the rear slide motion for opening.
I dimpled the front bow cover strip to accept the flush rivets. That was followed by counter sinking the plexiglass holes to accept the cover strip dimples. I did this by hand using the debur tool instead of the machine countersink. I thought that I could do a better job by going slowly and being able to see the curvature of the pleixglass easier.
