Brief Description: Match drilled to canopy front edge.
I clamped the strip (28/32") to the front edge of the canopy. I let it hang over the front edge slightly so that I could scribe the underside of the strip by tracing the edge of the canopy and then I back drilled from the inside to the outside. I clecoed as I drilled starting at the top and then alternated left and right as I went down each side. I then scribed the front edge for trimming.
After deburring and trimming, I smoothed all the edges on the Scotchbrite wheel on the grinder. Tomorrow I'll final size the width to the 3/4" and finish beveling the front edge of the strip to match the bevel on the canopy edge.
