Brief Description:  More canopy frame "cutting" and bending.

We finally received and email from Joe at Van's. He said that after looking at the pictures that we sent him, it appeared that the center tube was slightly twisted which was causing all our grief. He said the only way to remedy the situation was to cut the rear bows where they attached to the side bows and then take a conduit bender and twist the center tube. After doing that it should be easy to bend the rear bows to match the turtledeck skin mold line. We could also get the side bows adjusted easier. After everything was bent as close as we could get it (no such thing as perfection), all we had to do was get it welded. That's it, not much to it, Ha, Ha!

We jumped right to it using our home made bending table and the conduit bender. We'll see how things turn out in a couple of days!!
