Brief Description:  Drilled and riveted platenuts to fwd fuselage part

We unclecoed the forward top fuselage ribs to attach platenuts to the ribs and brackets. I drilled the holes for the platenuts using that handy tool that I had purchased from Avery Tool. It is very quick and accurate when putting on platenuts. I used the hand squeezer for the riveting and it made short order of this job.

I also drilled some new holes in the firewall for the center top rib, this time drilling through the stainless steel into the aluminum instead of the other way around. What was I thinking by drilling through aluminum into stainless steel? The drill bit wandered around in the aluminum before going through the stainless steel and screwed up the rib holes. I should have known better. There's always a fix.
