Brief Description: Riveted steps and baggage floors/ side panels.
Charlotte and I installed the steps this morning. She used the rivet gun while I used my small tungsten bucking bar. It took us a while but we only had to drill out a few of the rivets. We had a few too many "Smileys", so we replaced those rivets. All in all, it came out great.
We then installed the baggage floors and side panels which required riveting nutplates into the floor through the tunnel ribs and F-706 frame. The side panels had some nutplates also. Most of the rivets were blind rivets (LP4-3) which attaches the floors to the ribs and the side panels to the stringers and longerons. We did have some problems lining up the holes on the side panels requiring me to match drill some new holes.
Now all I have to do is figure out a new rotisserie setup.
