Brief Description:  Worked on flap actuator and baggage floor.

Today, we installed the flap actuator assembly to run the flap motor to the half flap position by using a 12 volt battery. I checked the motor attach angle postion that I had clecoed into the housing channel. I had previously match drilled the angle into the channel and was verifying the correct position per Van's method. I safety wired the rod end to the bolt through clevis end of the actuator torque tube and ran the motor up and down. It all worked normally.

While I had the flap actuator installed, I match drilled the side plates to the backrest column and marked the flap motor bolt hole on the side plate. I then removed the side plates and used a unibit to drill the marked bolt hole to provide clearance so the side plate would lay flush to the channel housing when installed. After removing the assembly, we then riveted the angle into the channel using three AN470AD4-5 rivets accomplished with the rivet gun and bucking bar because the squeezer's yokes weren't deep enough to clear the channel flange.

I countersunk the baggage floors for the center tunnel and rear nutplates and then match drilled the floors for the blind rivets.
