Brief Description: Finished cutting out most parts for flap actuator.
We felt sad and helpless as we watched on TV as Hurricane Ike did its tragic march over Galveston, Houston, Beaumont, and western Louisiana. Mother Nature has no mercy, especially for the unprepared.
We cut out most of the parts and fabricated them for installation on the flap motor housing channel. We'll rivet on the channel nutplates and position it for match drilling to the F-705 frame and match drill the motor install plate. I'll fab the motor install angle tommorrow and then we'll need to rivet in the steps before we rivet the nutplates to the center tunnel ribs and baggage floor. Seems that the faster we try to go the slower things proceed. That's airplane construction and you can't rush it!!
