Brief Description: Tunnel cover and seat support angles cut.
I had cut the tunnel cover support angles yesterday and the manual said to carefully measure the distance between the holes drilled into the angles' bottom flanges. They were 2 13/32" between the holes that take a screw into the nutplates in the ribs that were in the QB. Sure enough I was 1/32" off and had to elongate a hole with the file. I need more powerful glasses to the read that scale. I finally got the supports to fit and then match drilled the cover to the supports. I dimpled the cover and countersunk the supports to accept the dimple and flush rivet. Deburred and scuffed and ready to prime if Tropical Storm Edoward doesn't lay down too much needed rain. The tunnel cover took way too much time!
We cut the seat support angles and will work on the seats tommorrow.
