Brief Description:  Installed the left wing.

Charlotte and I stopped to picked up my brother Clark on the way to the airport to help us put on the left wing. We decided to install the ailerons and flaps before attaching the wing to the fuselage. We later removed the flap to install the rear spar bolt and nut. We'll know better for the right wing! The wing slid in easily after I routed in the wires and pitot/ AOA tubes through the fuselage snap bushings. We then had some trouble lining up the interference bolt holes until I put in two drift pins. I put in the outboard bottom and inboard top pins using a plastic mallet to tap them in. The other two went in easily. Getting the nuts on the bottom bolts required me to crazy glue them to a popsicle stick, and then turning the bolts with a rachet and socket. With me in the cockpit on my stomach and sweating profusely, we finally got the big bolts nutted. I'll install the rest of the bolts tomorrow. We will also install the right wing tomorrow,

It was raining and very humid today, maxing out at 91 degrees. More of the same tomorrow. Oh well, I need to sweat out all that fiberglass dust from the windshield layups!
