Brief Description:  Cut left wingtip to aileron gap and matchdrilled.

I set up again in the front yard and proceeded to cut the wingtip-to- aileron gap using my Dremel fiberglass cutoff wheel and then sanded down to the taped line. I taped the tip to the wing and the gap was right on at 3/16" when a credit card edge was inserted between the joggle and the wing skin edge.

I then matchdrilled the skin holes to the tip using a #40 bit and clecoed the tip to the wing as I progressed. I clamped the wingtip to the aileron in the neutral position as I drilled and clecoed. It all came out OK!

Tomorrow, I'll epoxy reinforment strips to the inside of the tip and then matchdrill it in preparation for installing nutplates.
