The epoxied tip was nicely cured so I cut off some exposed fiberglass and sanded the rough edges smooth. I placed the tip into the VS for a final check before match drilling the holes. I did some minor shaping of the enclosure insert on the grinder ScotchBrite wheel to make it fit a little better. I then clamped the tip to the VS and match drilled the rivet holes. After deburring the holes I clecoed the tip and completed the blind riveting. Decided to stop and catch up and log last week's work into MyKitlog before getting too far behind and lose track of my notes.
